When I first started working on this game, it was just an experiment. I wanted to challenge myself with a new engine, trying to create a simple multiplayer game, while exploring an aesthetic I always loved.
I never expected it to become this.
If you scroll back to the earliest posts, you can see it for yourself, it wasn’t anything groundbreaking. But you saw something in it anyway. You shared ideas, created assets, spread the word, and all of this culminated with 100,000 of you adding it to your wishlists.
I don’t have the right words to describe what that means to me. The feedback, the support on Patreon, the conversations happening every day in our Discord, all of it reminds me why I started this in the first place, and why it matters so much to keep going.
Making a game is hard. But building one alongside people who genuinely care about the world you’re creating makes it feel like the most worthwhile thing I’ve ever done. Even if this game doesn’t do as well as I hoped, I will still be grateful for what we managed to achieve and keep making games for as long as I possibly can, because it’s what I love doing the most. And if I can say that with confidence today, it’s also thanks to you.
We have so much more to show you. A free public demo is on the way, and every day we get a little closer to putting this in your hands.
Thank you, sincerely🩵
